Lori M. LaHoda

Lori M. Rankin LaHoda, of Aldan, formerly of Ridley Park, passed away on July 12, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on May 4, 1980, in Lower Merion, Lori was the beloved daughter of Robert S. Rankin and the late Monica J. (Suchanec) Rankin. Lori was a proud 1998 graduate of Ridley High School, where she was a member and captain of the school's cheerleading squad. She continued her education at Neumann College, earning her degree in 2003. A devoted animal lover, Lori found great joy with her many dogs (Harley, Mosey, Trotter, Ruba, and Baloo) as well as working as a certified dog trainer, combining her compassion and patience with her love for animals. She also cherished caring for children, a role that reflected her nurturing and generous spirit. Lori embraced life with enthusiasm. She loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, especially biking along the beach, early morning sunrises, and enjoying the beauty of the ocean. She treasured traveling to Aruba, where she found peace and happiness. She had a lifelong love of any type of music that would get her up dancing, Passionate about helping others, Lori was a dedicated advocate for G-PACT, working to raise awareness and support for those affected by gastroparesis. Above all else, Lori's greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering compassion, infectious smile, and the love she shared so freely with those fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Monica J. (Suchanec) Rankin; brother, Robby Rankin; grandparents, Robert F. Rankin, Joseph and Mary Suchanec and William and Mary Jane McGroarty. Lori is survived by her loving parents, Robert (Peggy) Rankin; siblings, Lynn (Brian) Maxim, Christopher (Dani) Rankin, Meghan Brookes, Maura (Davis) Brookes Cochrane and Erin Brookes; grandmother, Elizabeth Rankin; nieces, Jane and Maggie. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: Monday, July 20th 6:00-9:00 pm at Lombardo Funeral Home 530 W. Woodland Avenue Springfield and Tuesday, July 21st 9:00-10:30 am at St. Eugene Church 200 S. Oak Avenue Primos. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, July 21st 10:30 am St. Eugene Church. Interment: SS.
