Gloria D. Rosato

Gloria Dianne Rosato, age 88, of Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 23, 1937, in Clifton Heights, Gloria was the beloved daughter of the late Louis and Emma Rosato. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Emma and Louis Rosato; her brothers, Louis Rosato Jr. and Fred Rosato; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Gloria was a devoted mother and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her beloved daughter - the apple of her eye- Nancy Fitzgerald (née Callahan) eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her by a few precious names (& spelling variations) to keep her fun loving spirit ever present through generations: Bubba, Bubbah, Bubbsie, Bubbs, ‘Queen B.’ A proud graduate of Clifton Heights High School, she carried throughout her life the strong values of faith, family, friendship, and community that defined her character. In her early career, Gloria worked at Clifton Precision, where she first met her husband. Shortly after, she transitioned to Ralston Purina where she worked with her beloved Aunt Lena. She quickly climbed the ranks as their first ever sales womaen — traveling and managing her own territory at a time when few women worked in what was then a male-dominated industry. Her success, determination, and professionalism allowed her to grow and thrive within the company for many years, achieving numerous accolades. Anyone who met Gloria would describe her personality as larger than life. She was a living legend, often referred as an icon, whose presence filled every room. Her family often joked that she had missed her calling as a movie star. With her quick wit and effortless humor, she could tell a joke at any moment, captivate a room with stories, or dive into deep conversations about world events, movies, books and life lessons. She was a devoted fan of General Hospital, a love that spanned decades, and she never missed a chance to discuss the latest storyline. Gloria also had a deep love for animals and shared much of her life with beloved dogs and cats by her side. Gloria’s laughter, wisdom, strength, and unmistakable spirit will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to be in her orbit. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
