Barbara Snacki

Barbara Snacki, beloved wife, aunt and friend, passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 73. A longtime resident of Aldan, PA and Forked River, NJ, Barbara was a vibrant spirit whose warmth, wit, and strength left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Born on February 10, 1952, Barbara was a 1970 graduate of Upper Darby High School. She went on to build a dedicated career with the Philadelphia School District before retiring, having served the community with professionalism and care. Barbara was married for 53 years to the love of her life, Fred Snacki. Together they built a life full of laughter, family, and shared memories, especially at the shore—a place Barbara deeply loved. Whether she was crabbing off the dock, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or enjoying the company of her family pets, Barbara brought joy and energy to every moment. She was the heart of every holiday, the center of every family gathering, and the glue that held everyone together. Her devotion to her family was unmatched, and her loved ones were her greatest pride. Aunt Barb, as she was affectionately known, treated her family and friends like gold, fiercely protective and endlessly generous. She had a sharp wit, a big heart, and a "drill sergeant" spirit that kept everyone in line—with love, of course. Her humor, strength, and compassion will be remembered always by those lucky enough to be part of her life. Barbara's legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched with her loyalty, laughter, and fierce love. She watched over her family in life, and we know she’ll continue to do so in spirit. We were all blessed to have her—now, we carry her with us. Survived by her husband, Fred Snacki; siblings, Louis (Connie) D’Antonio and Carol Seccia; nieces and nephews, Renee (Eric) O’Connor, Sheila (Momo) Seccia, Gus (Amber) D’Antonio. T.J.
