Rita C. D'Angelo

January 19, 1920 - March 11, 2022

Rita C. (DeSipio) D'Angelo, 102, a resident of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on March 11, 2022. Rita was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph and Carmela (Saccomanno) DeSipio. She was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School for Girls and worked as an assistant Business Manager for WIP and WMMR radio stations until her retirement. Rita was a longtime member of St. Rita of Cascia Church in South Philadelphia and St. Philomena Church in Lansdowne. After retirement, she volunteered her time at Monsignor Bonner High School. Rita was an annual subscriber to the Philadelphia Orchestra, was an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed Casino bus trips to Atlantic City with friends. She was very family oriented spending all her time with those she loved. Rita was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Pasquale D'Angelo. Survived by her children, Patricia Hall and Anita Herold; grandchildren, Cassandra (Todd) Murray and Eric (Lena) Hall; great grandchildren, Michael (Sandra) Harney, Luca Hall, Maximillian Hall, Alexandra Murray, Kippi Hall and SusannahHall; great-great grandchild, Michael Victor Harney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Thursday, 9:30 am at St. Philomena Church 41 E. Baltimore Avenue Lansdowne. Funeral Service: Thursday, 10:30 am at St. Philomena Church.
