Nancy Jane Holder

February 5, 1923 - March 5, 2022

Nancy J. Holder, 99, a resident of Springfield, formerly of Upper Darby, passed away on March 5, 2022. Nancy was born in Frackville, PA to the late Merwyn Bruce and Louise (Mould) Holder. She was a 1943 graduate of Kutztown State College. Nancy worked as a teacher for the Upper Darby School District until her retirement. She was a longtime member of Incarnation Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church and more recently attended Covenant United Methodist Church. Nancy loved her cats, pea green springtime, gardening, knitting, crocheting, quilting, reading and listening to sacred music. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends. She was a loving sister, aunt, great aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all. She is predeceased by her sister, Jane Ann Lesher ; brothers, Merwyn Bruce Holder Jr., Richard Holder and Jack Holder; nieces, Anna Louise Moore and Suzanne Holder ; nephew, David Holder ; great nephew, Ira Lutz. She is survived by her nephews, John (Linda) Lesher and Charles (Nan) Holder ; niece Barbara Tazik ; great nieces and nephews, Amy (Michael) Goodwin, Andrew (Amy) Lesher, Beth (Steve) Rhoads, John Lutz, Becky (Andrea Raifsnider) Lutz, Jenna Holder, Jordan Holder, Jake Tazik and Job Tazik, Laura Holder, Abigail Sinkey and Ryan Holder ; great-great nieces and nephews, Luke Lesher, Grant Lesher, Ethan Lesher, Jason Rhoads, Leeann (Mikael) Peterson, Joel Raifsnieder, Bryce Raifsnieder and Trent Raifsnieder. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 26th 11:00 am at Covenant United Methodist Church 212 W. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA. 19064. Interment: Covenant United Methodist Church .
