Mary "Kay" (Retsel) Ferrari, 80 a resident of Media passed away on March 16, 2022. Kay was born in Philadelphia to the late William and Helen (Stramansky) Retsel. She was a 1959 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School and later Widener University. Kay worked as a Registered Nurse until her retirement. She volunteered at the Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Malvern. She also volunteered at Ridley Creek State Park at the Mansion and gave talks on Sam Riddle. Kay was an avid animal lover especially her dog Frankie. She enjoyed museums and traveling to Kentucky for the horse races. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cousin who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, John F. Ferrari Sr.; stepmother, Christine Retsel. Survived by her children, John F. Ferrari Jr., Annette Scott and James A. (Susan) Ferrari ; grandchildren, John F. lll, Celene, Julia, Gary, Laura, James A. Jr. and Nicholas; sister in law, Anne (leone) Ferrari; cousins, Jacklyn Daddona and Nancy Porto; dear friend, Nancy Baulis. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Frankie. Memorial Mass: Saturday, April 2nd 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen 2400 N. Providence Road Media.
