Carol A. Chappelle Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol A. Chappelle, 85 a resident of Norwood formerly of Darby passed away on December 27, 2021 Carol was born in Darby to the late Raymond and Isabelle (Donohue) Jordan. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. Carol worked at Gimbel's Department Store in 69th Street Upper Darby. She was a devoted caregiver to her children and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed going to the shore in the summer. Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, John M. Chappelle Sr.; daughter, Carol Stewart; brothers, Raymond Jordan and Richard Jordan She is survived by her children, Stephen (Eileen) Chappelle, Jack (Cathy) Chappelle, Jeanne Schultz, Bob (Rose) Chappelle and Barbara (Derek) Porrini ; sister, Janet Failkowski, Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation: Wednesday January 5th, 9:30 am at St. Gabriel Church 233 Mohawk Avenue Norwood. Funeral Mass: Wednesday January 5th, 10:30 am at St. Gabriel Church.
