Carl A. Joos Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carl A. Joos, 90 a resident of Secane passed away on May 17, 2022. Carl was born in Baltimore, MD. to the late Carl and Winifred (Beatty) Joos. He worked for Boeing for 39 years until his retirement. Carl was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Secane. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, talking politics and anything related to history. Having grown up on the Chesapeake in Oliver Beach Maryland, Carl had a fondness for swimming. He liked taking trips to Ocean City, NJ and spending time with the family he loved so much. His true passion was gardening flowers and vegetables. Carl was a people person who enjoyed socializing and attending parties. He was a humble and caring man with an infectious laugh and big smile. Carl was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary L. (McCann) Joos. Carl is survived by his children, Carl D. (Debbie) Joos and Mary L. (Ed) Schmidt; grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy and Carl Jr.; sister, Catherine (Richard) Neuwiller; niece, Colleen Neuwiller. Also survived by several other nieces and nephews. Visitation: Friday, 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church 1 Fatima Drive Secane.
