Anne Marie Young

January 21, 1936 - October 24, 2021

Anne Marie (Spangenberg) Young, 85 a longtime resident of Clifton Heights, passed away on October 24, 2021. Anne was born in Media to the late James and Catherine (Feehan) Spangenberg. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. Anne was retired from Delaware County Memorial Hospital where she worked as a switchboard operator for many years. Anne Marie enjoyed the beach especially Wildwood and the Outer Banks, flea markets, garage sales, jigsaw puzzles, and the holidays. Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Anne will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Young; sister Catherine Spangenberg; and brother David Spangenberg. Survived by her children Chuck (Carol) Young, Linda Young, Donna (Larry) Johnson, Lisa O'Brien, Steven (Genene) Young, Michael Young, and Mark Young; 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sister Barbara (Richard) Buggy.
