Rosemarie Scarpato

Rosemarie Scarpato, 72 passed away peacefully, April 19, 2023 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center. She was surrounded by her beautiful family and loving daughter. The wonderful and caring nurses and staff expressed their adoration and sorrow of her passing. She was born in Aston to the late Lawrence S. and Matilda V. (Bentley) Scarpato. She was a graduate of Sun Valley High School. Rosemarie was a CNA for Fair Acres and Assisi House. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rosemarie. She enjoyed journaling, poetry, loved nature, being outdoors, and was an extremely talented artist. She often expressed her love for nature through her artwork. Few people knew the extent of her life struggles, but her joy for life and making everyone around her smile was the joy that kept her going. Her personality and sense of humor were contagious. Many lives were touched by her guidance and knowledge. She was a loving free-spirited woman who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her. Rosemarie was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and Aunt to 18 nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Predeceased by her son, Clayton Fenstermacher III, precious infant daughter Katie Scarpato Predeceased by her brothers: Thomas Scarpato (Christine), Lawrence S. Scarpato Jr. (Christine) and sister Sandra L. Scarpato. Survived by her daughters Devon L. Scarpato (Stephen D. Meredith) and granddaughter Julia V. Meredith. Daughter Tarra Fenstermacher, and grandson Michael Fenstermacher. Sister of: Joseph M. Scarpato (Teresa), Margo L. Colgan (Wesley), and Carol A. Poore. Visitation: Friday April 28th, 7-9 PM at Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Avenue Clifton Heights.
