Judi DiRenzo

Judi DiRenzo, a longtime resident of Springfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on May 23, 2026. Judi was, and will be remembered as, a loving, caring person whose thoughtfulness was endless. Born and raised in Lehighton, PA, Judi moved to Philadelphia to pursue a degree in nursing. It was there she met Mike, her husband of 59 years. She worked at Taylor Hospital for several years before raising her two sons. A devoted wife and loving mother, Judi returned to her calling of service at Conner-Williams Nursing Home in Ridley Park where she worked for over 30 years. A lifelong Springfield resident, Judi enjoyed summer vacation in Ocean City, NJ with family and friends. She enjoyed lunches with "the library girls" from St Dorothy's, outings with the women from "sorority", and just spending time with several of her lifelong friends. Holidays were her favorite with family and friends gathered around. She loved to cook and bake, and spoiled many with favorites like sweet potato casserole, lemon bars, and a Christmas cookie assortment that was second to none. Judi was known as an avid shopper who never missed a QVC TSV. Family and friends were often treated to gifts from Macy's, Target, Boscov's, and many other places she happened to be at. Aside from her two sons, her five grandchildren and one great-grandson were the joys of her life. Known as "Grammie", Judi spoiled them with gifts, treats, cards, but mostly her love. Her willingness to help and nurture them was endless, and her impact on their lives cannot be measured. Judi DiRenzo will be remembered for her generosity, her big heart, and leaving behind many wonderful memories for all of us to enjoy. She is loved, and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Michael A. DiRenzo; children, Michael DiRenzo and Chris (Hollie) DiRenzo; grandchildren, Victoria (Patrick) Paraga, Lauren DiRenzo, Darren DiRenzo, Christopher DiRenzo and Alana DiRenzo; great grandson, Parker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Friday, May 29th 9:00 am at St. Dorothy Church 4910 Township Line Rd. Drexel Hill, PA 19026. Funeral Mass: Friday, May 29th 10:30 am at St. Dorothy Church. Interment: SS.
