Joanmarie “BAM” Kennedy Voli Joanmarie Kennedy Voli, age 91, of Clifton Heights, PA, formally of Southwest Philadelphia and Aldan, Pa, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, Joanmarie was the daughter of the late Elwood and Rosemary Kennedy (nee Dougherty). She attended Most Blessed Sacrament School in Philadelphia. Joanmarie worked for Aramark Industries Corporate Headquarters (ARA) for 58 years as a receptionist, retiring at the age of 80 in 2015. Joanmarie devoted her entire life to her family and her greatest joy in life was being the loving mother to her daughter Missy, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Joanmarie was a member of St. Eugene’s Church in Primos and a former member of St. Joseph’s church in Collingdale and had nurtured a deep and enduring relationship with Jesus, regularly saying the rosary, which guided her throughout her life. Joanmarie loved life! She loved spending time viewing all investigative content television shows and loved shopping especially for a good deal. She also traveled to Peru on occasions to visit with her Goddaughter, Sister Rosemary Peterson. Her greatest joy this past year was her family and always said the best gift you can give someone is your time. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her gentle spirit, and devotion to her family. Joanmarie's love, kindness, and example of perseverance will continue to inspire all who knew her. Joanmarie is survived by her daughter Missy (John), four grandchildren Jay (Kelly), Joe, Jennifer (Steve), Josh, and eight great-grandchildren Emily, JT, Kyla, Grace, Luke, Johnny, Shawn, Juliana and survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Elwood Kennedy and mother Rosemary Kennedy (nee Dougherty), her sister Rosemary Peterson (Sonny) and her brother, Charles “Butch” Kennedy (Joan). A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a mass at 11:00 AM at Saint Eugene's Church (200 S. Oak Ave, Primos, Pa 19018). Interment will be private at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery at a later date.
