Grace A. Barnes

Grace A. Barnes (nee Guerin) age 75, a resident of Boothwyn, formerly of Primos and recent Breast Cancer Survivor passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2025. Grace was born in Philadelphia, to the late James and Grace (McGowan) Guerin. She was a graduate of John Bartram High in Philadelphia, then known by the nickname Gigi. For the past decade, Grace was employed by Marshall’s and Home Goods. She was lover of animals, especially her dog Buddy and cat Buster. Feeding wild birds was something she found joy in year round. Grace also enjoyed caring for her many plants. She never missed a chance to visit flea markets, yard sales, and craft shows with her daughters. Grace, as often as possible, was present in every aspect of her grandchildren’s lives and activities. But mostly, she loved spending time in Sea Isle, NJ at Pine Haven Campground and the beach. She also treasured her time spent in upstate PA, near Harvey’s Lake with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert N. Barnes and her beloved grandson, Alexander Muzekari. Grace is survived by her children, Irene Barnes Butler, Sally (Ted) Muzekari, and James (Sarah Lakin) Barnes; grandchildren, Eddie, Savannah, Marina, Ethan, and Dakota; brother Joseph (Judy) Neilson; Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as brother and sister in laws. Visitation: Saturday, April 12th 10:00 am at Kovacs Lombardo Funeral Home, 530 W Woodland Avenue Springfield. Service: Saturday, April 12th 11:00 at Kovacs Lombardo Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Smile Train at www.smiletrain.org. Grace received this life changing surgery and the family would love to see a child benefit from kind donations made in Grace’s name.
